About Danica

Hi! I'm Danica, and I love love! I'm the type of person who tears up at TV weddings and has the extensive wedding Pinterest boards. When I got engaged in January 2018 and started planning my own wedding, I realized how much I like the planning process on top of the actual wedding, and thus Weddings By Danica was born! In the mean time, I have volunteered my expertise to event planning and fundraising for Non Profits and am working on becoming a Certified International Wedding and Event Planner with focuses in Event Decor and Luxury Wedding Planning! 

My background is in Event Planning/Coordination, from large international conferences, Relay for Life events, and fundraisers for Non Profits. All of this experience has helped me to truly understand what is required to be a wedding planning professional. 


Meet The Team


Brianna Crosser

Brianna is an Aquarius and is obsessed with plants, coffee, and social media/marketing and connecting with others! Her favorite things about weddings are the first looks! When the groom or parent of the celebrant sees their loved one for the first time is priceless and definitely tear inducing. My other favorite part of a wedding is during the ceremony when the couple exchanges their vows or has their first dance. Brianna also enjoys discovering new music, supporting my local community and local businesses, and helping others whenever I can (& if you need recommendations for what to local, don't be afraid to ask!). Brianna is a full time student at NIU where she studies marketing, and is also a board member/marketing director of IGNITE Rockford!


Samantha West

Samantha has been an assistant coordinator for 2 years and has recently begun the journey to become a lead coordinator with the WBD Team! "I have loved everything about weddings since I was a little girl, and fell into wedding coordination while planning my own wedding! I am here to make your day not only stress free, but uniquely YOU! I like to think my style is a mix of modern + elegance + romance to create events that guests remember. I’m looking forward to this new journey as a lead coordinator and can’t wait to share what’s to come!"
